One of the antique lover's favorite stops is the Jameson Homestead. This century home is filled from top to bottom with antiques. At Christmas, the city of Avon hosts a Candlelight Walk through the historic French Creek District. The decorated historic homes and shops have the look of a Thomas Kinkade painting - truly a joy to behold!
The new Avon High School opened its' doors in the Fall of 1999. This state of the art facility offer enough space for each and every student. Avon Schools are consistently rated in the top three in Lorain County, often jockeying for the number one position with Avon Lake and Amherst.
